Curated by Breeanne Saxton, O.C.T. hosts local and visiting dance/ movement practitioners to teach master classes as well as sustained community classes.

These classes are designed for intermediate to professional dancers intending to deepen and expand their technical, improvisation, and performance practices in addition to serving as a meeting ground for Salt Lake City and Utah dancers to connect, grow, and inspire one another.

Stay tuned for a wider range of class offerings including beginning adult modern, Butoh, Acting for Dancers, and more classes coming soon!

While we work to find a permanent home, classes are held at various locations throughout the Salt Lake valley including Rowland Hall, Capitol Theatre, the Clubhouse and more. Click on individual classes to see locations.

Practice with Breeanne Saxton

  • Performing Dance Center 3295 South 2000 East Salt Lake City, UT, 84109 United States (map)

Designed for advanced dancers and movers of all backgrounds. I feel inspired by guided imagery and good loud music. Gaga and Butoh techniques have influenced my warm up and my own rememberings of the movement and feelings create the phrase work. We will sweat and push our boundaries, falling through space and finding ours centers again in detail and nuanced design. We will work together and investigate how specificity and musicality are intertwined with intention and execution. Come to practice being in motion.

What I bring is an offering. A framework for your own physical practice to take place in. A laboratory where you can experiment in community. Where you learn from your community.
